Our Story

Pastries A-La Carte is a family-owned business that began with owner Kathy Battis baking fresh, unique cakes right from her home. Due to the popularity of her products, she opened her own storefront on April 9, 2004 and now boasts an extensive product line of pastries, pies, cakes, cupcakes, danishes, cheesecakes, specialty cookies and more. As the bakery continued to grow, an addition was added to the storefront in the Fall of 2019.

Generations of Deliciousness

For owner Kathy Battis, baking has been in her family for many years. Her great grandmother, Ada Rennie, began the tradition after coming to America from England in the early 1900s. Ms. Rennie's legacy was featured in a local newspaper article in 1968. The family tradition lives on with Pastries A-La-Carte and the variety of products that can be found throughout the region.
